The farm is located way off the beaten path on a rocky mountainside in the Republic of Vermont. The herd is milk tested through Lancaster DHIA and both the humans and goats are committed to improving the quality of American dairy goats for cheese production.

Meryl is a graduate of the Artisan Cheesemaking program at Sterling College’s School of the New American Farmstead. She honed her skills at the Cellars at Jasper Hill. She makes cheese almost every day of the year.

Tyler is from Atlanta and is the resident expert in Staying Calm While Baby Goats Are Being Born.

Both of them could happily eat nothing but cheese ever again.

Our Nigerians have been carefully chosen for excellence in dairy and elegance in the show ring. We rigorously select our animals to further the development of the Nigerian as a beautiful, functional miniature dairy animal.

When we decided to expand to a standard breed to grow our fluid milk output, we fell in love with Alpines for their goofy, loving personalities. We breed pureblood French Alpines (and a very small number of Americans) for both conformation and milking excellence, and are proud that our lines include Mamm-Key, Kickapoo-Valley, Munchin'Hill, Roeburn's and Nodaway.

Bucks are half the herd and we have tried hard to choose the best. Check out our Nigerian and Alpine breeding boys.

Coming soon to a farmer's market near you...
